Single Working Moms
Call me June Cleaver, Murphy Brown, and Mike Seaver all in one but that is my life's job description. Just this past week, I have worked a full time job, cooked a Thanksgiving meal for a crowd, taught my youngest daughter how to ride a 2 wheeler bike and how to fish (YUCK). I do this kind of stuff on a daily basis.
I am not looking for a pat on the back because my kids appreciate what I do - most of the time.
My kids are missing the fatherly companion. Maybe there is a website you can rent a "dad for a day", because that fishing thing put me over he edge. I had to touch a worm GROSS!!! I did it for my kids. There are certain jobs kids need a Dad for and fishing is one of them!
The older they get the harder it gets. I miss the days of innocent daycare and elementary school. My oldest is dealing with boys!!! Lord help me. I miss the days when my Dad would meet my boyfriends at the door with a scowl on his face. It used to intimidate my boyfriends. How can I do that? www.dadforaday.com where are you?
