His first "real" Christmas

My husband and I are so very excited for Grant's first "real" Christmas, yes he was almost one last year for Christmas but he was really just marveling at his surroundings more than actually engaging in holiday mayhem.

This year he's almost two and boy is he interested. His new favorite words,as is the case with many soon to be two year olds, are me, mine.

Thanksgiving day I pulled out all of the inserts from the day's paper and began looking over all the great deals we planned to tackle the next day at the store, and Grant just loved looking at the toy inserts.  These pages of goodies were so exciting to him, he would point at something look up at me with big bright eyes and say "ME!"

As the pages turned I heard, "Bat Ball," that one means Bat Man, his new infatuation. He loves to wear the Bat Man cape with his friend Danny during the day. Other words he shouted with glee during the eye opening process for him were, "Dora, Diego, Dog, Bike and Bob Bob," code name for his favorite yellow sponge.

I can't wait to see what his Christmas day is like for him, considering that the day after his first "real" halloween he went around our culdesac pointing at doors and saying lollipop?
